The first view of Corfu from the sea is the medieval town of Corfu, surrounded by fortresses, with narrow streets (our bus only barely made it through them) and tall buildings.
While you’re in Corfu, take some additional time to check out Kalamata – not only known for its tasteful olives, but heaven for history buffs, culture junkies and sun-worshippers alike. Check out this piece from AllTheRooms: https://www.alltherooms.com/blog/things-to-do-kalamata-greece/
